Gonzales Weekly

Gonzales Weekly
04/14/14

With AIMS done and over with, we have just 25 days left of school!

This week, I plan on cracking down with groups talking during class time. Groups talking when they should be listening will have community service during recess. If you have any questions or concerns about this, please feel free to email or stop by and ask!

This week and next week are Spirit Week! Make sure that your child is participating! You can look at the schedule of events on the Link, which goes home with your child every week.

There will be no school on Friday (04/18) and Monday (04/21). Mark your calendars!

This week in math, we will study solid figures and find their volume. In writing, we will practice using adverbs. In social studies, we will finish up the southwest region of the United States and take our first test! In science, we will learn about constellations. Please note that tonight between midnight and 1AM, there will be a total lunar eclipse! Maybe take a quick midnight snack and watch the moon turn bright red!
