Happy Monday!

School pictures are tomorrow, and the book fair is running this week!

Remind your child that if they do not get their homework done, they will have to go to homework hall on Friday instead of having choice time.  You can check what homework assignments they have during the week in their planners, as we fill them out Monday-Thursday.

You can use engrade to check your child's grades throughout the week.  I try to update every day, but I will always have everything completely graded by Friday afternoons.  Your child was given a log in paper last week.

This week, we begin our Galileo testing.  These tests will be administered throughout the year to give me an idea of where your child is at.  It will help me predict how they will do on the AIMS, as well as show me what I need to reteach in order to make sure your child is successful.

In math, we will continue learning about adding and subtracting decimals.  In reading, we will continue with Maniac Magee.  In writing, students will edit and finish their first persuasive essay.
