Happy Monday! This
will likely be the second to last newsletter I send this year!
Progress reports were passed out last week. Please continue to monitor your child's
engrade account to make sure they are doing their work!
Field day is next Wednesday, May 15th. Have your child bring a towel and a change of
clothes! We are also in need of bottled
water and oranges for this event. We
appreciate any help you can give us.
Due to too much rough play and injuries, football is NOT
allowed during lunch and recess. Please make
sure that you are not letting your child bring a football to school.
I will assign homework this week and next week. There will be no homework the week of May 21st. I will not accept ANY work after Friday, May
17th. Your child needs to
have everything turned in by then.
We will continue to review fraction concepts in
math. In reading, we will get through a
large portion of Harry Potter and the
Sorcerer's Stone as well. We will
review some extra spelling and grammar this week in writing as well. Your child was also assigned a final science
project. This will be a HUGE portion of
their grade. It is due BY May 17th,
but they are more than welcome to turn it in any time before then.
