We have
just eight days left of school!
Please
make sure that you go through your child's backpack today! There are several reminders and permission
slips to read and fill out! Most
importantly is one regarding the holiday concert, which is next Tuesday,
December 18th. You must sign
the permission slip or your child will not be allowed to perform.
While I
will not assign official homework over the winter break, I expect your child to
practice their multiplication drills, study for the spelling bee, and read!
In math
this week, we will learn about algebraic equations, as well as patterns and
change. In reading, we will learn about
an author's purpose for writing. In
writing, we will write a paragraph using the structure we learned last week, as
well as do a word war! In social
studies, we will close up our American Revolution Unit.
