Gonzales Weekly 10/17/11

Welcome to another Monday!  I hope all of you received your child’s grades on Wednesday!  I am very proud of them!

For math, we will begin manipulating decimals.  In reading, we will begin the City of Ember.  EVERY STUDENT MUST HAVE A COPY OF THE BOOK!  This was on the supply list at the start of the year.  In writing, we will write about why our school should receive 250 books from the Book It! program.  For social studies, we are learning more about the English colonies in America.  In science, we will continue our reading comprehension by working on the weekly newspapers.

This week is parent teacher conference week.  If you have not signed up for a conference, you need to do so now.  I have a lot of open spots available.  Please stop by my door, call, or email me to sign up!
